are a local brewery established in 2004, brewing in the town of Westerham, less than 15 minutes down the road! Producing exceptional craft beer for the local market, they support the initiative to reduce food miles in the supply chain. Part of their business involves reviving many much-loved flavours of the old Black Eagle Brewery, which closed in 1965. As a local family business ourselves, we are delighted to offer some of the finest bottled beers Westerham Brewery produce.
which percolates through the Lower Greensand Ridge to the North of Westerham, is excellent for brewing pale bitter beers for which Westerham was once famous.
their malts are supplied by Crisp Malting of Fakenham in Norfolk, and the coloured malts are produced by French and Jupps of Ware in Hertfordshire.
means that 96% of the hops they use are grown in Kent, using 9 different Kent hops in the Spirit of Kent.
